It's as if they landed there by magic. In the middle of a plateau surrounded by mountains, the astonishing Tinfou dunes are isolated. If you love the taste of the desert and don't have time to venture further south, Tinfou is for you. With their highest peaks reaching 120 meters, these dunes offer a firsthand experience of the Sahara.
Ideally, come in the late afternoon when the sand has taken on a soft orange color. Camel rides are offered by local camel herders. It has a very touristy atmosphere, but if you've never ridden one of these famous "ships of the desert," this is your chance to try one.
